Different countries have different laws, institutions and procedures. A legal tool that answers a Nigerian question with another country’s law is not merely unhelpful — it is wrong, and confidently so.
What a generic answer costs you
Most legal technology is trained on the jurisdictions that produced the most text — which is not this one. The result is fluent, authoritative and wrong in ways a student cannot yet catch and a practitioner should not have to.

In Nigeria
Since the Land Use Act 1978 all land in a state is vested in the governor. What you hold is a right of occupancy, and alienating it without consent is void.

You cannot take a system built on one country’s law, add a dropdown, and call it local. The authorities are different, the procedure is different, and the reasoning that connects them is different. Localisation at the interface layer leaves the wrong answer underneath.
